Hanes wants to know what color underwear its female customers are wearing.
The promotion is advertised on the retailer's Facebook page. Customers who participate can win free underwear.
The underwear brand is also encouraging customers to tweet about their underwear under the hashtag #undercovercolor.
Strangely enough, white isn't a choice:
Once you select a color, you're prompted to tweet about it to win free stuff.
Laura Northup at Consumerist points out that an internet meme asking women to reveal their bra color for breast cancer awareness "was annoying as heck and didn’t raise any money or make anyone aware of anything."
