Immediately after Rebecca Soni won gold in the 200 meter breaststroke, AT&T aired the commercial below that incorporated footage from the race.
As you can see, it took more than just superimposing the race footage. Much of the commercial had to be filmed after the race, such as the inspired swimmer writing Soni's world record time on the white board. And that means, with the tape delayed broadcast, AT&T had about nine hours to create the commercial and get it on the air.
